Bold tee shots hit to the left side of the double fairway shorten this long par 5 and offers an easier second shot, whether it be to the left or right side of the split fairway.  

Pay close attention to where the pin is placed on the green because this will determine which side of the fairway you will want to be on for the second shot. 

The way the creek lays in front of the green, the location of the greenside bunker and the way the green is contoured, makes the approach shot much easier if the golfer’s third shot is hit for the right side of the landing area when the pin is on the right, and vice-versa when the pin is on the left.
